What is it? ESPA Pink Hair and Scalp Mud is a combination of red and white clay and made from 100% natural ingredients. It’s an intensive mineral-rich treatment mask which contains vitamin C-rich watercress and Red Clay to soothe and nourish the scalp, while Apricot Kernel Oil conditions to help promote stronger, healthy looking, manageable hair.
Who is it for? Suitable for all hair types, especially dry or weak hair. Can also be used to soften and nourish dry skin on the body. (See ingredient list below.)
How do you use it? Massage into scalp and through damp hair. Leave for 20 minutes or overnight if preferred and rinse off. Then shampoo and condition. If you’re on holiday you can leave the product on whilst sunbathing to protect your hair.

I haven’t used the product on my body but it does get rave reviews from people who’ve used it to clear up dry patches. I’ve been using it on my hair and scalp once or twice a week for a couple of months now and it really works. My hair definitely looks in better condition. I use quite a lot of products on my hair and I feel like when I’ve used this, not only is it nourishing my scalp and hair but it also seems to get rid of any remnants of hairspray, styling spray etc etc, so when I wash my hair I don’t need as much shampoo and it just feels cleaner.
It’s easy to apply, I dampen my hair (not too much) and then I try to get it onto my scalp before working towards the ends of my hair. It does make my scalp tingle ever so slightly for a few seconds. You can leave this product on overnight, but I’m not a big fan of that as I move about too much while I’m asleep, so I usually leave it on for around half an hour. Sometimes clay based products can take a lot of effort to remove, but this rinses away really easily. So all in all it’s a positive recommendation from me.
