You know what it’s like, you’re on the plane coming back from your holidays, flicking through the inflight magazine, determined you’re not going to buy anything, when you see a green lipstick that turns pink! Well, that’s what happened to me. I’ve never used a Lipstick Queen product before, but have heard good reviews, so I got my various onboard discounts and paid £15 instead of £22.
I do like a gimmick (just because we’re older doesn’t mean we are boring), so this appealed to me. It’s basically an emerald green lipstick which transforms into a rosebud pink when applied. The lipstick adapts to your natural pH and gives you a pink colour which fits your natural colouring, so it’s different on everybody. It contains Vitamin E and Shea Butter to soften lips and produce a semi-sheer glossy look.
This is a great everyday lipstick, I’ve been wearing it for work. It’s not a strong colour on me but I am pale, even after a sunshine holiday. I do have to re-apply regularly, but I have a bad habit of licking my lips and along with multiple cups of tea, coffee and water, I would expect to re-apply anyway. Would I buy it again? It’s a Yes!
