What is it? MUA Luxe Bronze and Sculpt Contour Kit is a duo, highlighting and bronzing compact perfect for easy contouring.
Who is it for? Anyone who likes simple to use, effective make up. MUA are cruelty free, they don’t test their products on animal. All packaging is recyclable.
How do you use it? “Sweep the lighter shade over areas you want to highlight, usually this is where the sun hits your face – the apple of your cheeks, the middle of your nose and forehead and your cupid’s bow. Using the darker shade run this along your jawline, either side of your nose and in the hollows of your cheeks.”
What’s the damage? £5 (Superdrug)
I really like this compact duo as it makes simple contouring, well, simple! I struggle with the whole contouring thing and can never get it to look right, so I’m glad that the overdone 15 different shades of product on the face is apparently losing popularity, but I do like the basic idea of contouring, i.e. giving your face a bit of definition, which is what this product provides.
It’s so easy to use, you just need a couple of decent brushes. I use the lighter shade on the top of my cheeks, under my eyebrows, in the inner corners of my eyes and a very thin amount down my nose. With a second contour brush, I put the darker shade along the top of the jawbone and a small amount down the sides of my nose.
It’s very lightweight so you don’t look like you’ve got loads of product on. You can layer it up if that’s what you want, but I find for workday makeup this is a great, and extremely reasonably priced, product.
